What the $97 actually buys
The easy decision to stick with GHL Command
- Free tools read. GHL Command builds. The 36 official tools cover contacts, calendars and messages. Not one of them creates a workflow, a funnel, a form or a pipeline.
- The free servers stop where the public API stops. They are wrappers around documented endpoints. GoHighLevel does not document a workflow-builder endpoint, so no wrapper can reach one.
- Your credentials stay on your machine, and you choose what the agent may touch. Individual tools switch off server-side, and sub-account create and delete ship disabled by default.
- Four months of shipping to real subscribers. v3.57 is live because a subscriber asked to switch tools off. That loop is the product.
When free is the right answer
If all you need is to read and update records — pull up a contact, check a calendar, send a message — HighLevel's official MCP is free, first-party, and genuinely enough. Do not pay us for that. The $97 starts earning the moment you need something built: a workflow, a funnel, a form, a pipeline, or a whole sub-account stood up from a client intake.
One thing we should not pretend about
GoHighLevel's public API cannot build a workflow. There is no documented endpoint for it. GHL Command reaches the builder through GoHighLevel's internal surface, which is why there is a browser-side pairing step before the workflow tools light up. If HighLevel changes that surface, those tools break until we ship a fix.
We are not an official HighLevel product and we do not pretend to be. You should know that before you pay, not after.
